Default My first digicam

I purchased a Kodak Easyshare Z730. So far I am very happy with it. I
dragged my feet forever to get a camera because I have had a very expensive
35 mm camera for over 20 years. I am not as into photography as I was when I
bought that one but was afraid to "step down" to a cheap digicam. But I
could not justify paying $3000 or more for a digital of similar level. Then
it occured to me with the price of these point and shoot models, it would
not hurt to just get "something" and learn how it all works.
This camera really excceded my expectations in terms of image quality. And
it's so easy to use. I barely skimmed the owners manual yet I have been able
to figure out this camera in every situation I've needed so far. I really
like the software that came with it. Just a click and it makes a dark, badly
shot photo look pretty good. I got the camera on sale at Bestbuy for
$169.00. I picked this one maily because it was the lowest price of anything
similar.
I love the idea you can just delete a photo if you don't like it. I have
tons of rolls of exposed film that after I took them thought "Aw, I know
those are probably crappy shots" and didn't want to waste the money to get
them developed. This format is so cool. I'm looking forward to "The Joy of
Photography" again lol.
