If you are serious about getting B&W right, you won't be doing it in the
camera. You'll shoot RAW, convert to 16-bit tiff, and desaturate with the
channel mixer in Photoshop.

If you are serious about getting B&W right, you won't be doing it in the
camera. You'll shoot RAW, convert to 16-bit tiff, and desaturate with the
channel mixer in Photoshop.

If you're REALLY serious, you won't even be doing it digitally, you'll be
using film...
Has anyone tried the B&W mode on the new 20D? Because I'm reserving comment
on its uselessness until either I see some results, or try it myself.
DPReview got some good images with it, but that's all I know.
