Like it or lump it lads - the Foveon looks as if it is here to stay

I don't mind as a consumer it will drive & influence beyond it's weight of
sales

In this respect it's potential far outweighs it's actual threat

As for the bloo dug (LMFAO) well its a ng innit?

i'll wait until i get my hands on the device

C'mon Roland - get real

It's a great shot by a great photographer using a great piece of kit

camera
and lenses

Well done the photographer - you have newer fame by the look of it and

have
GP to thank for bringing this fantastic image to a far wider (world wide)
community conisting of - oh - about 23 people(?)

Seriuosly - a great picture

It's a nice composition, but I don't think the Sigma rendition does
anything positive for it.

PovRay has improved a lot since (photons, area lights, camera DOF and
more time consuming stuff ;-) ). Of course PovRay has had
anti-aliasing and jitter parameters since the early days.

Ahhhhh .... Maybe time for some more rendering then.
No noise (if you don't want i). Lots of Megapixels.
I wonder where my old stuff is? It must be 20 years ago
by now
