Cuban, and I'll pour us a shot of Glenmorangie (18 years old, of course).

Time for some Bowmore and don't ruin it with a cigar ... it's smokey
enough on its own.

Bowmore? Haven't tried it. Yet. The Glenmorange is simply excellent! Smooth,
woody, just the right amout of bite. Hey! I sound like one of those snobby
booze hounds!

Ha, call that smokey? He says, getting some Ardberg out of the larder...

Another brand to add to my growing list.

I like Glenmorangie too, but Bowmore is just right. (best served
in front of a fire with a mostly unclad lovely by your side...
hmm, yep, average temps are dropping, must stock up...)

Quite partial to a nice Islay malt myself (and I include Talisker as an
honourary Islay, even though it's from Skye). I'm currently drinking a
bottle of Caol Ila 18, which is *seriously* nice.

If you can find it, try the Bowmore 21. That's just utterly gorgeous. I
usually pick up a bottle when I go through Heathrow, but my last few flights
have been from Gatwick, and their whisky shop isn't as well stocked, it
seems.

I'll see if it's sold in the states...
