Canon 5D lens buyers push used lens prices through the roof!!!!

There are certain prime lenses that are very hot right now, this is one
of them.
Others are from Zeiss, Leica and Contax.

Do you people actually know what spam is?
This message came from a know poster of news items. It is about an issue
which is very true and it's not just 5D owners making a run on some specific
prime lenses either. In 35mm group an Australian shooter with a 1Ds is
asking for an identical lens. I myself are in search of specific Leica
lenses for my 5D too.

Rich's messages are not spam. Only people with no idea what newsgroup spam
actually is, make the mistake. Back off, hang around for a while and get
your fingers into gear before firing off useless comments.

I have plenty of gear....but that is so missing the point! The person makes
the picture not the gear.

Ok. Single-focal length wide angle lenses (that work WAY better than
new wide-range
wide angle zooms). It's not old OM-1 owners buying these:

One great thing about these old FF lenses is that if you use a sub-FF
digital,
there is absolutely ZERO vignetting even at wide apertures because the
image circle of
the older lenses was designed to cover FF.
