Which is the better quality: a print of a photograph taken with a film camera or a display of a digital image in an electronic frame? That depends on the intention of the display. The electronic frame might work quite well on a desk, or if larger, on a wall in an office or reception area, but for my money, a properly framed, good quality print, on a premium paper, is tough to better. I have framed prints I am proud of, and the impact of a large print made on a quality photo printer has to be seen properly displayed to be fully appreciated. I have a hard time considering those prints displayed in any sort of electronic frame regardless of size. Yet, I am sure that there are going to be images displayed in an electronic frame which will impress. -- Regards, Savageduck |
