I actually like that picture a lot. And the cloud movement didn't do any real
harm.

But notice that the probable reason for the long exposure is that you didn't
have a light source; on a cloudy day not much radiates strongly in infrared.
Try a nighttime campfire picture. A campfire should be a good infrared source.
