Default Hooking up a digital camera to pc

Hi-

I was just wondering...is there a way to hook up your digital camera
to a pc? Or is there even a way?

Thanks for your help.

That would depend upon the camera's capabilities and whether it's compatible
w/ your PC. What camera do you have and what OS are you running on the PC?

Not worth the trouble. Even though Firewire is quite easy nowadays, It is still
easier to simply get a USB card reader.

Microtech makes good ones.

Unless the intent is to control the digicam with the PC. I agree that a card
reader is simpler if one only wants to copy images from camera to PC.

What did you want to accomplish by hooking up the camera to the PC. Also,
what model Olympus?
