Default ANNI GOES TO SCHOOL !

Had a tough day of classes today ..... at the Photoshop CS2 Power Tour
in Nashville, TN.
http://www.photoshopseminars.com/class/54

The seminar was conducted by Dave Cross (
http://www.davecross.blogspot.com/ ) and like most of these training
events run by the top pros, was very informative. One thing I liked
about this seminar, compared with others I've attended was that they
give you a workbook covering the entire day's program so you can just
follow along without having to take notes. Your brain is pretty much
fried by the end of the day anyway, so it's nice to be able to go home
and go through all the lessons once more.

Today's session was right smack in the heart of Nashville, right next
to the Ryman Auditorium, former home of the Grand Ole Opry. I could
almost hear the echos of Johnny Cash when I walked by.
They gave us an hour for lunch which was enough time to walk down and
gulp down some spicy barbecue while listening to some bad country music
(like there's any other kind).

I highly recommend seminars of this type. Even the advanced Photoshop
user will find something of use in them so look for one coming to a
town near you. As Dave Cross explained, "There is only one problem
with being self-taught .... the teacher."

I absolutely agree with you for once Bret. Let me know when a tour is
coming to Moreton Island, I'll be the first to book!

There is a wealth of good Photoshop instruction and tutorials available
online, most of which is free. The NAPP guys even have a weekly online
TV show:
http://www.photoshoptv.com/

Another good site with tutorials is:
http://www.photoworkshop.com/

Many of the top Photoshop trainers work from he
http://www.software-cinema.com/trainers.php#jhd
You can sign up and watch tutorials there for free as well.

So you see, DMac, even though you live in Bum****, Australia, there is
still hope for you.
BTW, how's that printer?
