A quick glance at Amazon and I see names like Xcsource and Caseflex in the mid-range price-wise, with the cheaper end dominated by Hama. I am *not* a serious photographer, but I'd like to dedicate more time to photography and I like the idea of taking photos that are actually focussed on something. Recommendations? I think of a tripod as a tool. The better the tool, the easier the job, and the longer you will cherish it. I'm partial to Gitzo. I've never had a Gitzo that was less than the best. Pricey, though. -- croy |
