Default CC2015.5 & On1

On1 released a fix today so their plugins show up in the new version
of PS. The dialogue pops up as soon as you open On1.

Okay, well this was fun, but there is a minor glitch - it doesn't seem
to work. I'll let everyone know when I get it working, and maybe I can
save someone some time.

I had no issues with On1 before getting this notice, after the CC
2015.5 upgrade. This was probably because I left the "Remove old
versions" option checked in the CC 2015.5 installation dialog. That
said, I did the On1 10.5.1 install.

I suggest reading what Adobe has to say:

I also removed the old versions, so that's not the issue. That link
didn't have much new in it, but it does mention that having older
version lying around in the plugins folders might cause problems. I
guess I'll have to try cleaning up those folders. It's not that big of
a deal anyway. I rarely use PS, and On1 works as a standalone, so it's
just a few more mouse clicks if I need it.

I also emailed On1. I do admit that the plugins installed in the
correct folder after the update install, so it might be the older
versions causing the problem.

It doesn't seem to be a general problem that everybody was
experiencing. It wasn't a problem for me, but I installed the On1
update anyway.
Apparantly the third party plug-in developers were notified Adobe
regarding how their installers should be modified to address the CC
shared plug-in folder. I suspect that On1 just got that done, and
Google is never going to do that for NIK.

On my main machine On1 Resize10 shows the image as multiple images on a
slide table. I I have not yet contacted On1 about this issue, but I am
waiting to see if that happens after I switch to Win10.

A well founded suspicion.

Is the "Tiling" box checked, and if so what are the tile sizes?

Hmm. Never thought of that. I will check it out. Thanks.
