I smell that padded cell again......You can force a captive population to
"be healthy", "even if it kills you"....

No one is forcing anyone to get health care in Canada but when they seek
care the actually get a mature rational approach to deal with the
problem.

Lots of people from Canada and Britain, where they get "free" health
care
(i.e., paid for out of their very heavy taxes), come to the U.S. to
pay
for
medical treatment out of their own pockets. Now why do you suppose
they
do
that?

The most celebrated example of this was a Canadian lady who insisted
that
she have a specific treatment. She was the poster lady on a bunch of
television ads in the US. She was told in Canada that the treatment she
demanded would not help her. She went to the US paid for the treatment
she wanted and when interviewed a couple weeks ago locally admitted
that it had not helped.

Perhaps, but she did get what she was willing to pay for.....It's called,
"freedom" baby.....

She was entirely free to get what she wanted and got it. No one was
stopping
her. She had no right to expect that others would pay for her choices. She
confirmed that it medically did not help her.

Yes. Well, lets wait until you've got something growing inside of you
that
shouldn't be there, and the X-ray machine is tied up for more than a
month.....We'll see how much sleep you get for that thirty day wait.....

Ahh an emergency situation then I would get expedited rather than normal
service.

You hope. Or, you might choose to expedite it yourself, by traveling to a
country where the machines are less busy. Both of these types are shown on
the nightly news. Fox just seems to find the ones who travel to the US, and
NBC finds the ones who don't need to travel anywhere. And you and I are left
to figure out the truth.....
