Thanks Alan. And I thought we had the greatest show of wild flowers here in
Britain! When I used to exhibit at the PMA show in Vegas I would stay for
a month and explore California and the Sierra. I have great memories of
Yosemite, Death Valley and Route 395. I now remember the wild flowers in
the water meadows when I was hiking up in the Sierra above Bridgeport.

Of course desert flowers are totally dependent on the spring rainfall.

We need more postings like this on this photography newsgroup . . . Even
if it is equipment based. For these trips I used an OM2 with a 24, 50 macro,
and a 85 or a 200 depending how steep the climb.
