Why would you think upgrading to the D70 would be an improvement?

:From the Canon D60??? Everything was an upgrade! I am quite satisfied
with
:the Nikon D70. It's the one I was waiting for from Nikon.

Have you figured out how to get the pics from the camera yet?
Let's see some of those masterpieces.

Al: Love the parody. Not so crazy about the photo. A lower shooting
angle, better exposure, better lighting, all could have helped a lot,
and maintained the pun you sought after.

Better exposure? Curious as to what factor makes you say that, since
I'm not sure where it could have gone. Lighting, yes - time and opportunity
led me to grab the shot, and I didn't feel strongly compelled by it to
pursue it under better conditions. Actually, the shooting angle hides the
godawful mess of powerlines overhead, that the guy wires are hinting at -
this was not a locale with anything approaching a "useful" background.
Given a high stepladder, maybe I could have slammed down DOF with a longer
lens from further back, but hey...

Thanks for your comments!

There's a shoot-in coming up that has a pretty wide ambit. I'm ready to
take that Pepsi-challenge. Are you?
