Contax RTS II Meter problem
Just got an RTS II, but the meter constantly "blinks", and the shutter
speeds sometimes are accurate. The "aperture" in the viewfinder shows !6 or 32 regardless of aperture set on lens. Changing batteries, lenses, modes etc. did not help. The aperture "coupling pin" just inside lens mount on body is "sticky" and does not slide quickly back down. Seems like a mechanical problem, since (without lens on) sliding coupling pin along track alters exposure readings in the viewfinder progressively, tho' all still flash. Any ideas ? Possible to open and fix simply myself ? How much will cost to repair, and by whom ? Thanks Subhash |
