I've met a lot of people who seek celebrity as photographers, but none "made
it" in the long run, and IMHO it's the long run that counts. I can name a
few news and journal photographers I know who have done very well by being
low-key. I'm sure you can, too. Celebrities get what they deserve. It is
their own making and unmaking. But we know that.

I think anyone can post to that forum. I looked at it shortly after it
started and the momentum seemed to fall off very quickly... or maybe it's
been edited down to the very few acceptable posts. Dunno.
