There is some question if that right, negotiated as part of the treaty
of annexation, was negated by Texas' secession. I don't expect that it
will ever be tested, because someone will always ask "Who gets the
Alamo?". And Austin (where I live) would really raise hell if they were
included with part of the redneck area, which generally means all of the
state except Austin (with a few exceptions).

I believe most grammarians would call it a verbal (specifically an adjectival
past participle). Unlike "true" adjectives, it's not subject to comparison.

Given the email address problems you've reported, would it be possible for you
to publish the names of those from whom you *have* received SI submissions?
I've yet to see a confirmation of the three images I sent to the replacement
address, and I'm concerned that they (along with my earlier submission to the
bogus address) may be wallowing in the bit bucket somewhere.
