Nikon 7900 battery cover not staying closed

me the battery cover just will not stay in closed position. Cover as per

My friend is not practical so got a new camera but I am hoping I can fix
this?
Anyone with any experience with any tips?

I emailed Nikon UK and they replied next day saying new spare part £6
including postage so I am impressed with them. Would of been more impressed
if they had said we're sending one with our compliments.

In the end I bought a new replacement direct from Nikon for £7 including Vat
and postage.
