How about the 200 & D2X? Next version?

Hi,

ToneUp will process most Nikon NEF files (including the D200 and D2x) but it
won't upload curves to those cameras yet. When Nikon release the SDKs I will
provide compatible version.

Kindest regards,

Todd.

Hi Ed,

ToneUp can read the WB from any D70, D70s and D50 NEF. I have never tried a
D200 or D2x NEF so I can't say for sure but it should be ok since its using
Nikons SDK, which knows how to decode the WB info.

Hope that answers your question

Todd.

This would also seem to imply at this point it can't read the as shot WB
information and use it as well, correct?

I use dcraw, which is free.

It's a command-line utility that converts
NEFs and many other RAW files to
either TIFF or PPM.

You have to specify that parameters
on the command-line, but it's a free
utility and it works and of course
if you can write a script, you can run
batch conversions

Yeah, Im looking at camera control now. Hopefully it will make it into one
of the next versions.

Hi,

The difference is that ToneUp (and Nikon Capture) use Nikons own NEF
conversion algorithm, which produces much better results than 3rd party
converters, like Photoshop ACR or dcraw.
