One thing I've found people really DO enjoy is large prints in a
book-type album, like these:

The reaction to a high-quality LARGE print is amazing, in comparison
to wimpy little prints.
I've sold large, framed prints by doing just that... Letting people
actually SEE what they look likd BIG. The details become important
and appreciated at that point.
Try it some time!

Here is the ones I've bought. Perhaps not as nice cover?

To be honest, there is really no comparison between these two
seemingly-similar items.
I have both, and the ones I pointed to are SOO much nicer--in two ways:

First, the cover is thick and padded. It looks like leather, and is soft.
Second, and most important, the sleeves themselves are crystal
clear...like glass. The cheaper version has sleeves that are murky and
grey by comparison. You really should check out the nicer line. I bought
several of them a few months ago when they were on sale for about $40.
Worth every penny.

Anyway... We both like these books. I would just encourage you to get
your hands on one of these:

and see if you agree.

Thanks, I think I will!

I just returned from Wal-Mart having perused their newly replenished stock of

were SD. 256k is the smallest and 2gb the largest with a surprisingly low
price. There was NO Compact Flash. Is CF "going away"?
Hmm ... my NEW D200 takes CF ... and has a 4GB Lexar Pro in it, and you won't
be finding one of those bad boys at Wally World. Dead? Far from it.

Your D200 is new.
The D200 as a camera model is over a year old (not that there's
anything wrong with that!).
It does seem that newer camera models are going to SD.

Well, I think consumer-level cameras are moving more to SD -- partly
because SD can now support the card sizes needed. I haven't seen a
pro-level camera yet without CF; can you think of one?

Canon EOS 1D MK II N
Not *without* CF, but includes SD slot.
It seems this is the way things are going; SD offers everything that
CF offers, in a smaller package, plus it's easier to insert/remove
(IMO). It takes up less room in the camera, allowing designers more
flexibility. As it matures, capacities will match CF; by the time the
better DSLRs convert, it will be ready.
Or, we'll all be dead, making it a moot point.

*that* was embarrassing. :-)

I bet that must have stuck in your throat.

LOL ........
