Yes, it seems almost impossible, but my Pixel 3 does remarkably well in very low light conditions (it combines multiple fraction of a second exposures). Apart from the zoom, the Pixel 3 can now satisfy most of my photographic needs. It won't suit everyone, of course. Borrow a Pixel 3 or 3A phone and try it - quite remarkable in my view. the pixel 3/3a night sight is *not* done in real time. it processes the image *after* the shot is taken, which can lead to unexpected results. the iphone 11 night mode (which has a misleading name since it isn't a separate mode) *is* real time, with a real time preview. what you see is what you get. |
