Canon Powershot A410: Hardware question / problem
In the Canon Powershot A410 battery / memory compartment there is an
additional component just to the left of the memory card (left when looking end-on in the upright position). It is guarded by a plastic upright and it appears to be a mini-DIP switch or jumper. Does anyone know what this is, what is does, and what its setting should be? Because due to some foolish experimentation I appear to have moved/broken/lost the one on my 410, and I can't find anything from in the documentation on what this is and if it matters. So far the camera appears to be working correctly in all modes, but as it is brand new and I don't have much experience with Canons I don't know what the side effects might be. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks! sPh |
