Olympus Intros 8MP Digicam with All-Weather, Metal Body

Melville, NY, August 3, 2005: Olympus Imaging America Inc. has introduced
the Stylus 800 digital camera, featuring an 8 MP CCD sensor, durable,
all-weather metal body, and Bright Capture technology, where the LCD
automatically increased image brightness for low-light photography.

The camera has a 2.5'' HyperCrystal LCD screen, and offers direct printing.
It includes 19 automatic pre-set scene modes, such as behind glass; indoor;
candlelight; night scene; cuisine; beach & snow; and record, which allows
for recording QuickTime movies with audio. Shutter speed is 1/2000 sec - ½
sec (up to four sec. in night scene mode).

Olympus' Stylus 800 is available for a retail price of $579.95.
