Default best masking plug-in for PhotoShop?

What is the best masking plug-in (for PhotoShop) for masking stuff like hair
and tree leaves? I've been using an older version of Extensis Mask Pro
(2.04) and it can be a bit tedious, especially getting rid of the halo.

TIA,
George
