face down on clean plastic window screens with plenty of air around them.
Don't use fans or heat to speed things up. If they curl you can take a
nearly dry sponge (did I say clean sponge?) and barely (as in almost not at
all) moisten the back of the print then press it between blotter paper under
a heavy weight or put it between a couple of sheets of mount stock in a hot,
unclamped, drymount press for a few minutes.

Another way, and you won't need to invest any money is to 'line dry' them.
Hang a line across your room and hang them just like you see in the movies,
or better yet with two clothes pins, one in each corner along the long side
of the print. You'll still jet a little curl, but just along the edges.

Dry them face up on a table. If they have a slight curl, you can steam iron
the back to help remove the curl

Use clips along the bottom isolated with a few folds of paper or cloth to
weight the film down. If the clips touch the film at the bottom, they
will leave a stain, that is why some absorbent material must be used.

Sorry,

I thought we were talking about paper and not film? Anyway, most film has
enough 'leader and trailer' to make staining not a problem...
