Default how to use zeiss ikonta 521/2

I have got a Zeiss Ikonta 521/2 camera as a gift. The problem is, I
do not know how to use a manual camera like this one. Does anyone
know of a good resource for learning how to make use of this fantastic
looking camera? German may be okay, but English would be far better.

thanks,

Andy

if you mean sources of manuals, see http://medfmt.8k.com/mf/manuals.html

if you mean general photography with older manual cameras, check local
interlibrary loan for older books on manual photography, the principles
will be the same even if not specifically tied to folder use...

there is some general info on use at medfmt.8k.com/mf/folder.html

most folder cameras are pretty close in operation, so reading up on
using say the Moskva 4 or 5 series folders would give a lot of insights
into use of similar features on the zeiss folder.

And unless you can evaluate light values well using that Mark I eyeball that
your parents bestowed on you, get yourself a good hand held light meter.
And learn to use it well. The "sunny 16" rule faithfully inscribed in film
information sheets/film boxes can serve satisfactorily under various
daylight conditions, but is tough to apply in unusual lighting situations.
