Not feasible as proposed, for several reasons, all having to do with the ease
of determining the origin of pictures posted in these groups. Note that
someone posting a picture has to provide a URL for us to find it, and that
pretty well lets the cat out of the bag.

HOWEVER, the idea could be implemented in a slightly different way. All that's
necessary is an anonymous Shoot-In mandate. We send our entries to the
moderator anyway, and he could delete the names when he posts them. But you
haven't exactly been a fixture in the Shoot-In; indeed, I can't recall that
you've ever submitted anything. I'll support your idea in that amended form if
you'll first submit at least one entry to a couple of Shoot-Ins, just to show
that you're up for the chase.

And get your wife involved too. Why should Martha and I be the only
husband/wife team in the Shoot-In?

Thanks.

That's a lot of fine print.

A mandate for the Shoot-In.

Maybe, but luckily nobody will sue you for not reading it. Bottom line
is this: the shoot-in is a monthly mandate/gallery that's been going
on for years. We post mandates, you shoot the pix in the time alloted
and send them to me, the shoot-ion "dictator." (mail address on the
rulz page) No contest, no scoring, no worries. You may get some
comments later in this NG, but that's about it. Simply entertainment,
nothing else.

Give it a shot!
