Kiev 60 frame counter not working?

Howdy All!

Has anyone had any problems with their Kiev 60 frame counter not advancing?
My father sent me his Kiev 60 and the frame counter stays on "H" the whole
time. It's not a real problem since I record the specifics of each shot but
since my father swears it worked before he sent it to me, I'm curious to
know if it is something I'm doing, or this is damage due to shipping. Since
my father works in shipping/receiving, he is quite adamant that his camera
was well packed!

I haven't - I've had that problem with several P-6 cameras, but never
with a K-60.

Did you try giving it a "whack on the back" with your palm? Seems to fix
lots of kiev problems! :-)
