Default Indulge Me

Thanks, everyone for the information. I have copied them to a folder for
further study. I think I may have been subconsciously trying to get a
cheaper Nikon, but now am swayed back towards the D300. My SIL has one, and
I can't let him get the best of me. Asked him the other day some questions
about it. He only uses it in AUTO mode.

In that case you must get a D700, no other option...... ;-)

One of our sons bought a Nikon D700. WOW what a camera. I don't think you
can get a bad photo except for composition WW
