New Sony Alpha 10MP DSLR with K-M lens mount

Here is the new Sony Alpha DSLR with the same Sony 10MP sensor as in
the Nikon D100 and soon-to-be-released Pentax *ist D replacement.

Based on a previous Konica Minolta DSLR it has the K-M lens mount:

Plastic will do that!

If it's not real, there's at least a couple of suckers. What gets me is
there is nothing on the Sony site. And definately nothing about 10MP.

Also, where is the name on the lens?
Sony is good, keeping things under wraps. Isn't it supposed to be
released in June?

There is no mention on Sony's site because the camera has not been
announced yet. Sony press releases have hinted about a new DSLR based
on technology that was under development by Konica Minolta, but the 10
MP sensor is an open secret.

The 10MP sensor may be an open secret. It's also a best and educated guess.
Sony have been talking this release up. If they want to be a "headline
performer" they won't do it with just a tarted up, face painted 7D. It has
to be more than 6MP. I fully agree with this and I think people realise it.

As far as I'm concerned it's all speculation and vapour until Sony
officially announce it.

Also, if this picture is indicative of what's coming, I think they need help
in styling department.

Link doesn't work. Looks like you bit into a hoax.

Having said that, the liklihood that the first Sony K-M mount DSLR will
be based on a 10 Mpix sensor (such as the D_2_00) is pretty likely and
has been the main prediction of many for a while.
