M37 to Pentax-K converter?
HI,
I have a lens 83 mm F/1.9 for an old Pentax camera. It is M37. It would be nice to use this thingie on my Pentax-K kamrea. Any converters for this? /Roland Note - Pentax makes a M42 to Pentax-K converter, so a M37 to M42 converter might be OK. |

M37 is for Asahiflex camera, see: http://babelfish.altavista.com/babel...7%2fM37AD.html Have you a Asahiflex ?, I'm searching forowner manual. Michel http://perso.wanadoo.fr/krg |

: Since the Asahiflex was rare, might this be a 42mm thread? Nope - it is definitely a 37 mm thread. Does anyone know the distance from mount to film plane for the asahiflex The M42 is 45.46 according to this http://www.graphics.cornell.edu/~wes...habetical.html Is the M37 more or less? If it is more than it would be possible to make an adapter. But you have to know the difference. /Roland |
