SHUTTLE NIGH LAUNCH----- HELP?
infiniteMPG wrote:
Got an invite to go see the Shuttle launch this past Saturday morning from the Causeway out on the Cape and the launch got scrubbed. Was all ready there with my Sony A100 with my Tamron SP AF90mm F/2.8 Di 1:1 Macro and my Tamron AF 18-250/3.5-6.3 DI II. Was feeling all comfy thinking I could get some good close shots with the 18-250 but now the launch is at 5:40AM, about 40 minutes before sunrise, basically a night launch. ACK!!! WHAT TO DO???? Not really prepared for this as I'm just getting the hang of daylight shooting. Any and all hints as to what settings to use to best capture this event as I probably won't get a second chance. I always shoot RAW so that's one thing I don't have to be told :O) Thanks in advance for your assistance. I was on either NASA's web site or it might have been Cape Kennedy's own site, it was a while back and I'm not sure which site it was, and they had a tutorial on shooting shuttle launches |
