You are just trying to provoke me, into making some intemperate remarks,
which would be so out of character. Troublemaker in the Lake.

LOL. Not that you need any such provocation.

Hi.

I have never actually said it was rubbish, I have said it was very ordinary.
Any camera without an optical VF is of dubious usefullness.

There will now be a rush (or rash) of people saying they have never-ever
used an optical VF in their whole life, and have never-ever had camera shake
or had difficulty seeing the LCD even though it was in full Saharan Sunshine
at 12.00 Noon on Mid-summers Day, and their eyesight is even worse than
mine, and they had forgotten their spectacles.

Ok, Roy G

You're obviously a Fuji employee - and a troll

Sorry if I speak like Yoda - my mother tong is french.

Definitely, before to buy it, I tested few of them for the week-end,
including Panasonic, wich was also very good.

But I found the best device for me was the F-30.

I figured English wasn't your first language. Just having some fun with you.

Personally I am happy the Fuji is working out great for. That is really all
that matters, that an having a camera that you love so you use it and shoot
pictures. I feel this way with my Panasonic FZ30. I have never had a camera
I have loved more or used more.

Right ! A good camera is a camera that you use and shoot alot. A
completely agree with you.

Nothing is perfect, and the results are much more important than the
tool

The results and amount of enjoyment you get. Without one there is no point
in the other!

Then you've made an informed judgement that the F-30 is the right camera
for you, and nobody here can argue with that. May it serve you long and
well.

The original poster seems to think that the F-30 is somehow better than
all other comparable cameras and posts pointers to positive comments
over and over again, while ignoring all the things that make it less
than the best choice for some people. We're tired of hearing it. We're
annoyed at that person, but not at the camera, and certainly not at you.
