FS: Nikon N2000 MF SLR Body - for parts/repair

Nikon N2000 35mm Manual Focus SLR body w/ built-in motor drive for parts or
repair, Serial # 2574158 - Outer body shell condition looks very nice, close
to “newish” (extremely minor imperfections on baseplate/etc.) but it is
non-functioning (the battery terminals had corrosion (which seems to be, from
my research, about par for the course/the achilles heel of this model). Tried
cleaning terminals/etc. and installing new batteries and it is dead. The camera
has an outer compartment (covered by the base plate) that holds the inner
battery holder. This outer compartment is now loose and unconnected (its
missing one of the batter compartment leads and it may fall out but only when
the bottom base plate that covers it and the inside battery holder is removed)
due to an attempt at cleaning the corrosion and hopefully getting the camera
working again, but w/ the bottom baseplate in place, the camera is _very nice
looking_. Viewfinder is bright and quite clean. The camera is _non-functional_
(not working) and because of this its being sold in "AS IS" condition but it
may be good for parts or repair. My loss is your gain.
