Default Nikon SB-15 flash on a Sony DSC-V1

Hi,

I have just bought a Sony DSC-V1 digicam. I have a
old Nikon SB15 flash lies around and is currently using
with my Nikon N2000 SLR camera. Will I be able to
use this flash on DSC-V1? It is a great flash due to is compact
size. I know I won't be able to do TTL but would Automatic
work? I definitely don't want to damage my new purchase.

Thanks,
EH
