I have become a big fan of low self discharge NiMH batteries (aka

Why your interest in that company?

directly of Energizer and received the following response:

"At this time, Energizer does not have plans to offer low discharge
batteries."

This seems to make little sense. Anyone have any knowledge or guess
why this would be? DR

There's only one reason why any publicly held
firm does ANYTHING...it's their interpretation of a
trusted CBA.

Did you know that if a publicly held firm is faced
with a choice regarding a large investment, of
doing something nice or doing something nasty
but more profitable for the company, it's illegal
to do the nice (socially or environmentally responsible,
....whatever) thing?

My how things have changed! America's founders utterly
distrusted the Superman powers granted to corporations,
and for over 100 years corporations had to prove they were
serving the public good every few years or have their
charter revoked. Today they call that "socialist" talk.
And we buy it. Hook, line and sinker.
My my my! how things have changed!

- Political Economics:

- "Fascism should more properly be called
- corporatism, since it is the merger
- of state and corporate power."
-- - Benito Mussolini, father of fascism.

One can ponder the meaning of that for hours.

I think I just found some Energizer LSD's (though they don't really
make it apparent on their packaging).

They're labelled as "Energizer Recharge". The batteries say they're
made in Japan and have 2300mAh. It looks like they have a date code
stamped on the side, 02-10 RZ.

My MC-9000 is on order so I haven't been able to test these batteries
lsd properties yet. I'll take some pictures of them if anyone wants them
for reference.

Has anyone else had any experience with these? I haven't seem them in
any of the lsd shootouts/roundups/reviews yet.

Are you an Energizer PR guy attempting to generate public buzz
for that "who cares?" product?
