What is your lightweight SLR travel kit?

(in article ): I'm curious - what are others carrying for a lightweight travel kit and what do you consider an optimum lightweight setup? I walk around with a Canon Digital Rebel XT with an EF-S 17-85 IS USM f4-5.6. Here's some samples http://verne.smugmug.com/gallery/1904047 under various lighting conditions. |

Ditto, but I ride around with it in this Pelican case http://www.snafu.org/pics/r1200gs/pe...124-160352.jpg attached to the back of my motorcycle. I've just ordered an EF-S 10-22 f/3.5-4.5 USM and will have to re-do the padding in the Pelican case, I suspect, to fit both lenses. Or I can throw the smaller lens in the tank bag, I guess. // marc |
