Need some glamour shots but the closest one is 100 mile away..

Hi,
I want to take some pics to send to my friend who I really want to
impress. Another friend once had pictures taken at Glamour Shots and
they came out pretty well, but that location closed and there isn't
another one within a hundred miles. Do they have any competitors? Are
there any other chains? Thanks

Try in the phone book under "portrait photographers". Many
portrait shooters have relationships with make-up artists and
hair stylists. Find someone whose work you like and have that
person make the arrangements for you.

Glamour Shots, while a great idea, was very formulaic and did
little to enhance the individuality of a client. You'd probably
do very well to find a creative, local photo artist with ties to
cosmetologists.
