Another Nikon 8800 question
Hi, All.
I'm learning rapidly about the 8800 but it seems that the more I learn the more questions I have. I printed the full spec sheets for the 8800 camera, and the SB-600 & 800 flashes from Nikon's web site. I found out that the 8800 has a shooting mode called "Museum". That obviously intrigues me since I shoot so many car pictures in museums with flash, and it is challenging at best. Can anyone help me understand what Museum does different than, say Landscape? TIA. -- ATM, aka Jerry |

Ed Ruf commented courteously ...
Why not just go the Nikon Tech support site and dl the 8800 user manual? Excellent suggestion, Ed! I will do that. Meanwhile, I did find out that Museum blocks flash in favor of optimizing certain aspects of the 8800's photometrics (as I call it, which may be incorrect) to bias exposure, brightness, sharpness, contrast, color balance, etc. for typical "museum" conditions. -- ATM, aka Jerry |
