Well, the press release was dated April 4.

The good news is that it looks like a good release for digital
photographers.

The bad news is that I'm temporarily unemployed, so it will
be a while before I can upgrade. Sigh.

It opened an hour ago for me. Improvements in the RAW converter did not
include curves, did include update to the file browser & easier
application of settings to multiple files.
