Siggi Too Cyan especially in the beach area.....a slight warming filter would take that away. True Blue would be better in my opinion. And the shoal with the stake, adds nothing to the picture. The fog, the moon and shoreline are of more interest. -- To win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the measure of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the measure of skill. Ya, would make everything grey basically. True Blue would be better in my opinion. And the shoal with the stake, adds nothing to the picture. The fog, the moon and shoreline are of more interest. The big problem with this image is lack of anything interesting. Lighting is good. I recently took a few in this same type of early morning light. Three of these images were shot in early morning blue light: landscape, heron, and fisherman. http://jimdavis.oberro.com/html/new_stuff5.html Course shooting digital it was pretty easy to neutralize the blue cast. This is as I saw it pretty well. I also didn't have anything interesting enough for a wide angle so I put on my 400mm with 1.4x and looked around for something in the distance to shoot. I know, no award winners here but some please me. -- Jim Davis, Nature Photography http://jimdavis.oberro.com/ Standard Poodles for fun BMW motorcycle for pleasure |
