do any of you have/use agfa colormad and/or varioscop enlargers?

i own one and one. i'm desperately looking for a couple of lens
plate/support for an apo-rodagon i've recently bought --and another
one i'm planning to get--, but that i can't fit on the plate i'm using
at the moment for the agfa color-something-ar i actually have. do any
of you have hints or suggestions?

I try to decode your message: You have an old Agfa enlarger (Varioskop
60?) with a 4.5/105 Color-Magnolar (or Color-Magnolar-II)?

Unfortunately, there are no regular means to mount a standard M39 lens
at your enlarger. The Agfa enlargers used a metric finethread mount. If
you can find a M42-M39 adaptor ring, you can glue it on you lens support
(using a good 2-component expoxy) and thread the lens in it. I did this
and used a 105mm Rodagon on my Varioskop.

This only works for the 105mm lens. It is nearly impossible to replace
the 60mm lens, there isn't enough space for improvisations.

Kienzle in Germany may have working adaptors for the Varioskop, they
offered conversions to modern Apo-lenses in the past. Be prepared to pay
$$$ for this.

unfortunately, you just *almost* got the point. i have the 60mm lens
on a regular plate :\

i have both the 2 enlargers i was talking of: a colormat and a
varioscop, then i have 2 mounting plates. on one, i have a rodagon
105mm --which is ok-- and on the other one i have the color-magnolar
60mm --which is not ok at all--.
i don't know if mounting and unmounting lenses on plates often may
damage the lenses --threads seems not to be as tough as camera lenses
bajonets--, but even if i wanted to, i couldn't mount my apo-rodagon
on the 105mm m39 plate because it has a different chape.
the plate used for the color magnolar is flat, while the one which
carries the rodagon 105 is not: the plane on which the lens is mounted
is about 5cm --2 inches-- lower than the plane used to insert the
plate into the enlarger.

about the versions of varioscop (it may be varioskop: i now miss the
exact name but i'll tell you) and colormat, i'll post something more
next monday.
