Default AGFA Karat (circa 40's-50's) film cartridges.

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone knows about the Agfa Karat and its associated
film cannisters that go inside the camera. They are hard to come
across and I want to shoot with this camera somehow. If I can find the
cannisters I can build load the film as they don't make it anymore in
the cannisters.

They are slotted cannisters specifically meant to go into the camera
and hold 12 shots.

Thanks!

Seriously, keep looking on EBAY. I have some medium format AGFA folder
cameras, and it took me nearly one year to find a lens shade that fit one.
Parts are sometimes tough, and their are many AGFA items to look through.
Also, some people might not identify the correct ones as AGFA, which means
you might look through listings for other parts. If you know roughly what
they look like, you might find them that way.

I think some Balda and Ansco cameras may have used the AGFA cartridge.
They are almost as rare. Using the Ansco name in your search might help
you find something that works. Good luck.

Ciao!
