Coming in to this real late, didn't see it before, so I'm really
replying to the person who made the first quote above.

Can't speak to the entire world but this definitely seems plausible
as Third World countries have the largest number of children per
family while others such as the United States and even China have
much lower numbers. I believe that in the U.S. European-Americans
(they aren't white and if everybody else gets to be xxx-American,
why should they still be called Caucasions) will be a minority with
Hispanics - the legal and illegal kind - Asians and even Middle
Eastern people will take the lead away from the African-Americans
(not all of whom can trace their ancesters to Africa per se. Even
obvious people of that ethnicity such as Martin Luther King and
Alex Hailey do not meet the test in some countries because they had
European-Americans on one side of their grandparents. Of course,
that's absurd but some recognition should be made as to the racial
categories once recognized by Antropology. And then, there are now
non-PC names still used by countries other than the U.S. for people
of African descent, such as mulatto (which Sen. Barack Obama would
be called in many other countries but barely gets "biracial" here,
quadroon, octoon, etc.

Now that we've cleared that up, what's the point to such names or
statistics unless there's some implication that the newer segements
of populations that displace those of European descent will vote
for their own candidates potentially altering the political makeup
of a given country, even the United States.

I would not describe 9.76% as a single digit.

9 is the smallest single digit number, therefore 9.76 is greater than a
single digit.

Black and White is a much used photographic style, as is Colour.

Who ever heard of White only photography.
