Problem downloading C-740 to Mac
I've got a Mac running OS 10.2.6. I've tried everything to get 740 to
download but it doesn't work except every blue moon by chance. I even got an AC power supply on the advice of Olympus help desk who said it takes a lot of juice from the camera to get the download working, but that hasn't fixed the problem. Any advice???? Thanks. |

Spend around $20 and get a USB card reader. The pics will go straight to
iPhoto. I have never directly downloaded directly from a camera to a computer for all the years I have had digital cameras, on a PC or Mac. Greg wrote in message oups.com... It seems silly to have a USB connection you can't use. I used a card
reader with my old Olympus (it didn't have USB) and it works okay, but I think it wears on the card going in/out. I just think when you buy something like this for several hundred bucks, dang, it ought to work. You were right, I misspoke before, it is OS 10.2.8. Terry. How do you download - via USB cable or card reader? If it's the camera cable get yourself a card reader - plugging that lead into that tiny camera slot time after time is asking for trouble. The card reader will plug into the keyboard. Also you seem to be missing one upgrade on you Mac OS. The last version of Jaguar is 10.2.8. |
