Default Is Film Dead?

With Kodak's announcement, does this mean film is dead?

What do you think. I hope not.

I think it means Kodak cameras are dead. Did you own one?

Actually, I do -- a cherry specimen of a Kodak Signet 35 with f3.5 Ektar
lens. Very much alive since the mid-1950s. And it will outlive me. And my
Kodak Signet 40 of similar vintage is not dead either. Nor is my absolute
mint Kodak Retina II. Death is relative when speaking about Kodak cameras.
And as long as I have relatives to leave them to, they will live on. Nyuk!
Nyuk!
