I did the contact prints last night.
While the mid tones were pleasing the complete lack of information was
disappointing. I might as well have used Plus-X or Acros in 4x5!
There would have been more detail.

But I will try it in TMax dev. 1+9 @ 75f as recommended
and see if the results are satisfactory.

At this point the Bergger film would be good for doing
copy work where mid tones are the only concern, the detail
captured by the film is adequate, and prints are only contact.
But for portraits in general, I'll give it one more try
to see what comes from it.

For what it's worth I have a friend that uses Berger film developed with
pyro. The results he gets is impressive.

Unfortunatly I don't have much more to give since I haven't gone into much detail
with him on the mechanics of what he's doing. I do know that he gets his chemistry
from the photographers formulary. As memory serves he was talking to one of the
sales people there and they recommended exposing the film at iso-100 and is using
the development time they recommended. I do know that he's read and recommends the
book "the book of pyro".

Thanks.
That sounds like a good starting point.
