Default Epson 2480

You want the 4180 or 4870 if you want an current Epson flatbed with a light
lid that is wide enough to be capable of scanning medium format.

Has anyone looked at the Epson 2480 scanner? Seems to take medium format
and is priced quite low. It has a claimed 2400x4800 resolution. Would
the capabilities of this scanner be expected to be on par with the old
2450? Norman Koren had a review of the older scanner, so it would be
useful to know how this newer scanner performs in comparison.

Go for the 4870, its the best one in this price range - you find a
review of its performance on my website at http://www.gnyman.com!
