Battery pack for Canon 300D - BP511 vs BP511A

Hi,

I want to order an additional battery pack with the 300D. I can see two
on bhphotovideo - BP-511 and BP-511A.

BP-511A is Lithium-Ion Battery (7.4v, 1390mAh) sells for $54.95
BP-511 is BP-511 Lithium-Ion Battery (7.4v, 1500mAh) sells for $34.95

So the 511 has a higher ampearage than the 511A but sells for $20 less.
How is that?

Thanks Phil, I guess the bhphotovideo site needs to correct the specs
then.

Scroll down and see the specs they have listed for BP-511 and BP-511A.
I guess I'll write to them and ask them to correct the info.

Oops, the BP-511 1500mAH is some Power-2000 brand, not Canon.

I have 2 x Canon BP-511 and 2 x Power-2000 BP-511, I like the Power-2000
ones better. Canon charge you more and give you less capacity.
