Default D1H repair

Hello everybody... some days ago I accidentally broke the top lcd panel
of my D1H. Is there any chance to replace it by myself, i.e. getting
parts from a non-working camera? Anybody knows some online "tutorial"
about disassembling (and reassembling of course :-) nikon DSLR bodies?

Disassemling is the easy part. Small explosive charges are the
preferred method. After you're done, it looks something like this:

Figuring out the correct amount of explosive is the tricky part. Good
luck. We'll all love to see the pictures.

Last time I did it, I used a bit too much explosive and the results
weren't good.

I've ordered parts from Huron Camera (now thefotogeeks). I think they
pretty much have everything your need.
